Empeltre Variety

This is a very productive and old variety of olive, for it was the most important of Aragon in the fifteenth century. It has early fruitage, giving a black fruit at maturity of about 2.6 gr., native of the Bajo Aragón area where 75% of world production is concentrated.

Its oil has a predominantly yellow tone, smooth texture, with a soft and fruity smell and delicate, sweet and slightly nutty taste.
